Kalu’s father In-law , Chief Sunday Okafor Laid To Rest In Enugu-ukwu, Anambra State By Babatunde Aremu “The remains of Father in law if senator Orji Uzor kalu, Late Chief Sunday Okafor ( Whuum of Enugu Ukwu) who died on February 3, 2025 has been laid to rest on Saturday in his hometown Enugu Ukwu, Anambra State . The Former Governor of Abia State, senator kalu while paying tribute to his late father in -law said “As I reflect on his life, I can’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude. He wasn’t just an amazing in law , he was an incredible human being. His love, wisdom, and strength continue to guide us, and his memory is a source of comfort and inspiration. Even though he’s gone, his spirit lives on in those he touched, and his legacy will always be a part of us.As I wish the soul of my father-in-law to rest in peace, I wish to also thank all those who, one way or the other took part in the low key ceremony we held in his honour and in accordance to his wish”The senator representing Abia North senatorial district and chairman privatisation/ south – East Development commission committee of the senate extended his warm appreciations to the Governor of Anambra State, Prof Charles Soludo; Governor of Enugu State Barrister Peter Mbah ; Senator Victor Umeh; Senator Uche Ekwunife, the Catholic community of St. Francis Catholic Church Urunebo Enugu Ukwu amongst many other.
