Customs FOU Zone A, Ikeja Intercepts smuggled vehicles, Indian hemp ,other Contraband Items, arrests suspects

The Federal Operations Unit (FOU) Zone A, Ikeja, of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), has made significant seizures of contraband items, including :
– *Smuggled Vehicles*
– *Indian Hemp*
– *Tyres*
– *Vegetable Oil*
– *Other Prohibited Items*, such as furniture, spare parts, and clothing items
The seizures were made at strategic locations in the South West region, highlighting the collaborative efforts of NCS operatives.
Comptroller Mohammed Shuaibu, FOU Zone A Ikeja, in a Press briefing on Thursday attributed the successes to the unit’s enforcement efforts aimed at-
*Safeguarding the Nation’s Borders*,
– *Protecting the Economy*
– *Preventing Illicit Trade*
The seized Indian hemp was handed over to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) for further investigation and prosecution.
The NCS affirms its commitment to combating smuggling and protecting the nation’s economic interests .
