As Nigeria sails into 2026, the Maritime Reporters Association of Nigeria (MARAN) has called on stakeholders across the maritime and blue economyit to excellence, collaboration, and national development.
In a heartfelt New Year message, MARAN Chairman Mr. Tunde Ayodele described 2026 as a “year of greater impact,” emphasizing the importance of enhanced service delivery and dynamic maritime journalism to support the sector’s growth.
“United, we can make Nigeria proud by contributing our quota to national development, each from our own little corner,” Ayodele stated.
Reflecting on the achievements of 2025, he praised the collective efforts that propelled the industry forward and urged all players to sustain the momentum through unity and shared purpose.
Ayodele reaffirmed MARAN’s commitment to fostering partnerships across the maritime value chain, highlighting collaboration as a key driver in transforming Nigeria’s maritime landscape into a globally admired hub.
He expressed gratitude for the unwavering support received in 2025 and encouraged stakeholders to renew their dedication in the year ahead.
“Thank you for your cooperation and support in 2025. Let us do it again in 2026,” he concluded, wishing all members and partners a prosperous and impactful New Year.
