NAGAFF launches Trade War Committee to tackle operational Bottlenecks at the Ports

National Association of Government approved freight forwarders ( NAGAFF ) on Friday launched Trade War Committee to tackle operational bottlenecks
exploitation and malpractices at the Nigerian ports.
The committee aims to address regulatory excesses, operational bottlenecks, and unfair practices affecting traders and freight forwarders. It will gather intelligence, monitor port activities, and provide reports to support policy reforms ยน.
The committee’s objectives include:
– Strengthening trade advocacy
– Identifying systemic inefficiencies
– Gathering policy intelligence
– Engaging with key stakeholders
Members of the committee include Dr. Increase Uche as Chairman, Chief Patrick Ogbo as Research and Trade Intelligence head, and other experts in various fields.
NAGAFF’s initiative is expected to promote transparency and efficiency in Nigeria’s international trade operations, supporting the government’s “Renewed Hope Agenda”
