NNPP Dismisses Kwankwaso’s Resignation, Says He Was Expelled Long Ago

The New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) has dismissed Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso’s resignation from the party, stating that he was expelled long ago. In a press release
In a Press statement on Sunday, the party’s Secretary General, Comrade Oginni Olaposi Sunday, said Kwankwaso, Elder Buba Galadima, and other members of the defunct National Working Committee (NWC) led by Dr. Ahmed Ajuji were expelled and courts have confirmed this decision.
The party claims INEC was informed of the expulsion and is now questioning the timing of Kwankwaso’s “resignation” to join another party.
According to the statement Only Kano Gov Abba Kabir Yusuf’s resignation is deemed “genuine” by NNPP.
The party urges other members to seek clearance from its screening committee.
The release also alleges internal crisis in Kwankwaso’s camp and accuses INEC of disobeying court orders, calling for presidential intervention
