Recruitment: Nigeria Customs Announces Physical Screening, Documentation for Successful Candidates

The Nigeria Customs Service, NCS, has announced the commencement of physical screening and documentation exercise for successful candidates enlisted into the Service.
According to a statement signed by the National Public Relations Officer, *Deputy Comptroller Abdullahi Maiwada on Monday, September 1, 2026*, the exercise will take place at the *Nigeria Customs Command and Staff College, NCCSC, Gwagwalada, Abuja*.
All shortlisted candidates are required to report on their allocated dates with the original and photocopies of the following documents:
1. *National Identification Number, NIN*
2. *Original Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age*
3. *Educational Certificates* – O’Level, ND, HND, Degree or other applicable qualifications
4. *Certificate of State of Origin*
5. *Two (2) recent passport photographs*
6. *Completed Guarantor’s Form*
7. *NYSC Certificate*, where applicable
Candidates are also required to wear *white T-shirt, shorts, and canvas shoes* for the exercise.
The Service stated that candidates must report only on the date allocated to their respective states and cadres. Attendance is compulsory, and failure to appear as scheduled may lead to disqualification.
Upon successful completion of the physical screening and documentation exercise, shortlisted candidates will receive further instructions from the NCS regarding subsequent stages of the recruitment process,” the statement added.
