ANLCA Apapa Chairman Chukwumalu Felicitates Maritime Stakeholders, Urges Compliance, Professionalism in 2026

The Executive Chairman of the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA), Apapa Chapter, Chief Emeka Chukwumalu, has extended warm New Year greetings to all maritime stakeholders as they usher in 2026.

In his message made on behalf of his executive, Chief Chukwumalu expressed heartfelt appreciation to Customs brokers, freight forwarders, Nigeria Customs Service officers, personnel of other government agencies at Apapa Port, and members of the maritime press for their resilience and dedication throughout 2025. He acknowledged their collective efforts in navigating the year’s challenges and fostering a spirit of collaboration and professionalism.

He emphasized the importance of continued compliance and integrity among licensed Customs agents and cargo handlers, urging them to uphold the highest standards in their operations. “Let us remain committed to due process and ensure seamless cargo clearance procedures,” he stated.

Chief Chukwumalu also called on the Nigeria Customs Service, shipping companies, terminal operators, and other port stakeholders to maintain diligence and work together to create a more efficient, transparent, and bottleneck-free port environment.

The ANLCA Chairman of the nation’s premier port offered prayers for a prosperous, healthy, and fulfilling 2026 for all stakeholders and their families, reaffirming his commitment to advancing the maritime sector in the new year.
