CUSTOMS EXTENDS VERIFICATION EXERCISE ON PRIVATELY OWNED AIRCRAFT IMPORT DUTY RECOVERY

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has extended verification
exercise for the recovery of import duties on illegally imported private aircraft by one month, from Monday, October 14, 2024, to Thursday,
November 14 2024.

This is contained in a statement issued and signed by National public relations officer of NCS, CSC Abdullahi Maiwada

According to the statement this extension aims to further engage operators who have expressed
willingness to regularize their import duties, providing them with an additional
window to comply with the necessary regulations.… More...
