The Tin Can Island Port Command of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has recorded a remarkable revenue milestone, generating over N1.45 trillion in the first 11 months of 2025. Under the leadership of Comptroller Frank Onyeka, the command achieved this feat despite initial challenges transitioning from the NICIS II system to the new Unified Customs Management System, known as the B’Odogwu platform.
In November 2025 alone, the command generated N135,210,533,902.89, its fourth-highest monthly intake for the year. This impressive revenue performance reflects Comptroller Onyeka’s acumen for revenue generation. The command also secured two prestigious awards at the recently concluded Comptroller-General of Customs (CGC) Conference.
The achievement demonstrates the command’s commitment to effective revenue collection and trade facilitation, and highlights the potential for continued growth and development in Nigeria’s maritime sector.
