TRIBUTES AS ACG OLOMU HANDS OVER TO COMPTROLLER OSOBA AS NEW CAC, APAPA CUSTOMS COMMAND
Tributes as ACG Olomu hands over to Comptroller Osoba as New CAC, Apapa customs command

0n 6th May, 2024 exactly 15 months ago ACG Babatunde Olomu assumed office as customs area Comptroller of Nigeria’s premier port, Apapa customs command .
He raised the bar and with the support of officers he hit a record of 2 trillion in revenue generation in 2024 .
As at September 8 2025 , the day of his handover the command has generated 1.834 trillion Naira revenue .
This ACG Olomu attributed to a system of faster cargo clearance , fight against smuggling , stakeholders engagement , information sharing and feedbacks from stakeholders.

Speaker after speaker extolled the virtues of AC Babatunde Olomu . They described him as a success story and dedicated officer who raised the bar in revenue generation
The event featured signing of handover note by ACG Olomu to mark the end of his tenure as customs area Comptroller Apapa and usher in a new regime .
In his speech, The new CAC, Comptroller Osoba promised to justify the confidence reposed in him by the CGC, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi . He assured stakeholders of his determination to
build on the foundation laid by his predecessor.
Osoba called for the collaboration of stakeholders to tackle the challenges of the new assignment and ensure his success in office.
The handover ceremony was attended by Terminal operators, Founder and members of Nagaff, Chairman customs consultative forum, Akeem olanrewaju, maritime journalists and officers of the Nigeria customs service
