NAGAFF Founder , Aniebonam Directs Arrest of Troublemakers During Apapa Election

The founder of the National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF), Dr. Boniface Aniebonam, has directed the National President of the association, Chief Tochukwu Ezisi, to ensure the immediate arrest and investigation of anyone found attempting to breach the peace during the ongoing Apapa election.
The Directive was Contained in a Statement issued and signed by the National Publicity Secretary of the Association, Mr. Clement Iwegbuna on Sunday in Lagos
Aniebonam gave the directive against the backdrop of concerns over possible disruptions during the electoral process, stressing that anyone perceived to be violating the peace should be handed over to the Nigeria Police for investigation and, where found culpable, prosecuted in accordance with the law.
He maintained that membership of NAGAFF is voluntary and, therefore, no member should remain in the association if his or her activities could undermine peace and stability within NAGAFF and the wider society.
According to him, the NAGAFF High Command will not fold its arms and allow anyone to foment trouble within the association, particularly when members have the option of belonging to other freight-forwarding associations.
“The perceived leadership failure in some of our sister associations cannot be allowed in NAGAFF for whatever reason,” Aniebonam said.
He appealed to voters and contestants participating in the Apapa election to maintain peace and abide by the rules of engagement, electoral guidelines and constitutional provisions of NAGAFF.
“Enough is enough,” he added.
