The Lagos High Court has ordered a businesswoman and former NTA staff, Ms. Olufunke Otti, to return a Parkview Estate property and pay over ₦478 million to her ex-husband, Chief Isaac Morakinyo Jolapamo.

Delivering judgment in suit No. LD/3034LM/2022 on 26 March 2026, Justice Olufolake Olufolashade Adewunmi-Oshin declared that the property at 23A & B Olusegun Aina Street, Parkview Estate, Ikoyi, Lagos, rightfully belongs to Chief Jolapamo.

The court ordered Ms. Otti to relinquish the property, which she was found to have unlawfully acquired.

Justice Adewunmi-Oshin further directed Ms. Otti to refund ₦410,347,000 to Chief Jolapamo, representing the outstanding balance from the proceeds of the sale of two vessels.

She was also ordered to remit ₦63,000,000, being rental income she collected from tenants at the Ikoyi property between 2018 and 2021.

In addition, the court awarded ₦5 million in general damages against Ms. Otti.

Ms. Otti and Chief Jolapamo were formerly married.
