The Maritime Reporters Association of Nigeria (MARAN) is gearing up to celebrate its distinguished past presidents with a special reception.
The event aims to recognize their leadership, service, and contributions to Nigeria’s maritime industry.
The high-profile ceremony is scheduled to hold on April 24, 2026, at Rockview Hotel, Apapa, Lagos. It promises to bring together industry heavyweights, ministry officials, policymakers, and stakeholders to honour past leaders and reinforce maritime journalism’s role in shaping policy and driving growth.
MARAN Caretaker Committee Chairman, Tunde Ayodele, notes that the reception will reflect on past presidents’ legacies and strengthen media-industry collaboration amidst sector reforms.
Planning Committee
Chairman, Funso Olojo, adds that the event will celebrate past leaders’ excellence and rising profiles.
